Putt-Putt is for the Dogs

CNY SPaRC is hosting a fundraiser at Fairmount Glen Miniature Golf on September 27th to benefit three local animal organizations. Golfers will collect sponsorships and play 6 rounds of mini golf. The groups selected to share the funds raised are: Sunshine Friends, Inc, CNYSPCA and Spay and Neuter Syracuse.

Enjoy dinner at Uno's Chicago Grill on December 4th between 5 pm & 9 pm and up to 20% of your bill will be donated to Sunshine Friends, Inc.

Sunshine Friends is holding a garage sale on Saturday, May 9th. We are seeking gently used household items to sell, as well as volunteers to help us on the day of the sale. The annual garage sale in the Radisson community in Baldwinsville draws bargain-hunters from across the region, so this will be a great opportunity to raise some money and awareness of our organization! Walk & Four-Legged Festival

SFI will be offering the AKC's Canine Good Citizen Test, for a donation of $10 per dog, at the CNYSPCA's 11th Annual Walk & Four-Legged Festival. The CGC test will be available from 11 AM until 2 PM at the festival.

As in past years, Sunshine Friends volunteers and their pets will be at Carousel Center Mall on Black Friday (the biggest shopping day of the year!) to provide shoppers with an opportunity to pause and meet the animals, as well as to learn about our organization.

In an effort to expand our services to the New Hartford area, Sunshine Friends will be holding open evaluations at New Hartford Animal Hospital on February 27th. Applicants MUST bring completed Volunteer and Pet Applications as well as their pet's rabies certificate and proof of veterinary examination. SFI will be at the CNY Pet Expo and Adopt-athon to commemorate Be Kind To Animals Week. It's a fun and informative day for pet lovers and those seeking to adopt pets. The Expo provides a chance for animal shelters & rescue groups from across Central New York to find loving homes for the wonderful pets in their care. The event is pet-friendly, and will feature pets looking for homes, canine dog dancing , a low-cost micro-chip clinic, and more!
